About the Program
Tennessees Adopt-A-Highway Program provides an opportunity for individuals and groups concerned about the environment to take an active role in preserving and protecting our states natural beauty. Since the programs inception in 1989, volunteers have collected more than 12 million pounds of litter from Tennessees roadsides. These valuable contributions are helping produce cleaner roadsides, reduce maintenance costs, and boost litter prevention awareness in the Volunteer State.
